[ltr]Gold prices stabilized Tuesday morning, after it reached its lowest level in two weeks during the previous session, as they wait for more evidence about raising US interest rates this year.[/ltr]
[ltr]The price of gold remained, virtually unchanged, at $ 1338.70 an ounce by 01:07 GMT. As the US gold also settled at $ 1342.70 an ounce.[/ltr]
[ltr]And William Dudley, president of the Federal Reserve Bank in New York, said that raising interest rates may be possible at the next meeting of the Council, to be held in September.[/ltr]
