Foreign parliamentary: We are a sovereign country and will not close our doors generally any Yemeni party
A member of the Committee for Foreign Parliamentary Relations, Sunday, that Iraq is a sovereign and "doors will not close in general any Yemeni party" country, stressing that the Iraqi government with Yemen's unity, as expressed readiness to receive any delegation from Yemen in order to bring the views.
Said committee member Abbas al-Bayati said that "Iraq is a sovereign country and therefore we do not close our door in the face of any party that wants to voice his views to us," noting that "Iraq approach and its basic elements is to call to resolve the political and peaceful in Yemen and call for dialogue and produce a political situation in which the participation of all parties , do not interfere in the internal affairs of Yemen. "
He said al-Bayati, that "Iraq has received a delegation Houthis to listen to their views, and therefore any other delegation wishes to making its voice heard we are ready to listen to him in order to bring the views," stressing that "Iraq is not the first country to receive the Houthis were greeted by former Kuwait and Saudi Arabia before the outbreak of war with them and also Lebanon and Oman. "
Al-Bayati and pointed out that "with Iraq and Yemen's unity and with a peaceful solution which does not want to interfere in internal affairs," adding that "the Houthis field strength on the ground and their role and impact of and participated in the negotiations with Mansour Hadi in Geneva and Kuwait."
The Yemeni government has demanded, on Sunday, the Iraqi authorities to clarify the official position behind the reception Huthi delegation, which move in the media on the lips of Iraqi officials, that their country recognizes and supports the so-called "top political council."
