UN chief calls Amir on Kuwait-Iraq border deal

KUWAIT, June 12 (KUNA) - His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Wednesday evening received a call from UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on two Kuwaiti and Iraqi messages late to the latter on both Countries' agreement on the formation of a bilateral technical committee to undertake the joint border mark maintenance in the future in line with UN Security Council Resolution 833.
During the contact, the UN chief commended the step Which MARKED Iraq's fulfillment of international commitments enshrined in the UN resolution. (end) mt KUNA 130028 June 13NNNN
