    It revealed the Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation, on Monday, for negotiations to be held during the day with Britain over granting Iraq a loan of 10 billion pounds, while confirming the development ofmechanisms and frameworks governing the partnership with the private sector for the implementation ofinvestment projects in the country. 
    He said Planning Minister Salman Jumaili in a statement issued on the sidelines of a meeting with the envoy ,British Prime Minister for development Emma Nicholson, and received a "long", a copy of which, " the coming days will witness the start of negotiations with the British government on the granting Iraq a loan of 10 billion pounds , " noting that " the loan will be a gateway for British companies to investment in Iraq. " 
    Jumaili said that" the current crisis faced by the country prompted the Ministry of planning in cooperation with the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to go to a partnership with the local and foreign private sector, especially in the area of the completion of the investment projects that have stopped because of the crisis ,"pointing out that" this the process requires real partners to proceed with the completion because of their importance as they represent the outputs of the task of the economy and built the productivity in the future. "
    He pointed Jumaili that" the ministry is working to develop and frameworks governing the partnership with theprivate sector mechanisms try which create a favorable environment for real investment , "explaining "there are more than four thousand continuous investment project can be part of a future partnership with the local private sector projects or foreign having the correct mechanisms in this area mode." 
    the Iraqi planning Minister that " the British partners will have a key role in the reconstruction process "pointing to" the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries. " 
    for her part praised Baroness Emma Nicholson, according to the statement," strength of Iraqi - British relations in all fields, especially in the economic side , "pointing out that" this meeting is of great significance for British companies. " 
    the financial crisis that swept the world in general and Iraq in particular following a drop in oil prices to below $ 40 a barrel , weighed heavily on the investment budget for Iraq, prompting the Ministry of planning to stop most of these projects due to the lack of financial liquidity.
