{Baghdad: Euphrates News} The Minister of Oil Jabar Luaibi, the ministry's intention implementation of large projects during the next year, 2017, for the purpose of advancement of the oil and gas sector.
According to a ministry statement, received by the agency {Euphrates News}, acopy of it, that Allaibi, "received, envoy of the British Prime Minister for Trade ,Baroness Emma Nicholson and her entourage, which included a number of British businessmen members of the Iraqi Business Council - Britain {IBBC}, during themeeting , they discussed bilateral cooperation and the development of the oil and gas sector in the country. "
the statement quoted Allaibi, saying that" the oil ministry on the verge of a new era in the oil and gas sector by opening the door for investment in various fields Kqtai distribution and refineries, as well as the development and upgrading in the field gas oil industry , which is a vital sector in the ministry. "
He called on British companies to" enter strongly in the Iraqi industry activities of theoil, especially in the energy and investment of the gas fields, which Iraq possesses him large amounts ", calling on them to" submit their views and proposals on thedevelopment of the oil sector and gas. "
He Allaibi, said that" 2017 will be the beginning of a new period in the work of the Ministry of oil through the implementation of large projects to promote this important sector. "
He said" the ministry has sought strenuously to overcome all the obstacles that face the work of the international oil companies and to provide full its support for moving in plans and projects. "
for its part , congratulated the envoy of the British Prime Minister for trade Ptsnm Allaibi his new oil minister, wished him" success in the ministry management and development of the oil sector in the country , "asserting that" the country is seeking to develop work with the ministry and move towards new business horizons through the coming period ".anthy
