According to a report from Radio Pakistan, Iraq wants to build an oil refinery at Pakistan’s Gwadar Port.
Iraqi Ambassador Dr. Ali Yassin Mohammad Karim is said to have discussed the issue with Pakistan’s Minister for Ports and Shipping, Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo, at a meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The development would be part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
They also discussed possibility of a ferry service for Pakistani pilgrims visiting Iraq.
