OPEC: Cooperation with independent producers will continue after the end of the production agreement

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Secretary-General Mohamed Barkindo said on Wednesday that cooperation between the Organization and independent producers will continue after the current cut-off agreement goes into effect.
"We believe that cooperation is in the interests of consumers and producers," Barkindo said during a visit to Moscow.
"We do not expect separation in this marriage," he said. "It's like a Catholic marriage."
