The Zionist entity on Tuesday submitted plans to build more than 1292 housing units in the occupied West Bank, said an official of the movement "Peace Now" Israeli anti-settlement.
Hagit Ophran said the plans included "all parts of the occupied West Bank," noting that they were in different stages of the planning process.
It is also expected that the Zionist authorities will agree on Wednesday on settlement plans as well.
This comes as part of a plan to provide about 4,000 settlement units in a move to boost settlement growth there, a Zionist official said.
Construction projects in the settlements usually need to go through several procedural steps before final approval is given for starting construction on the ground.
The Zionist authorities agreed on Monday to 31 settlement units in the city of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, for the first time since 2002.
This makes Hebron a source of tension because of the presence of Zionist settlers holed up in an enclave protected by Zionist soldiers near the Tomb of the Patriarchs.
The international community considers the settlements illegitimate whether they were established with the approval of the Zionist government or not. Settlement is the first obstacle to the peace process.
