    BAGHDAD / The head of the Iraqi parliament, Saleem al-Jubouri, said Wednesday that Iraq is approaching an important stage that requires the mobilization of efforts to achieve the electoral benefits successfully and transparently, allowing participation of all without exception.
    A statement by the Information Office of the Speaker of the House, received by "Eye of Iraq News," that "Jubouri received today, the US envoy to the International Alliance, Brett McCork and his delegation."
    "The meeting reviewed the political and security developments in Iraq and the region, ways of enhancing bilateral relations and international efforts in combating terrorism," the statement said.
    "Iraq is coming to an important stage that requires the mobilization of efforts to achieve the electoral benefits successfully and transparently, by providing all the requirements that allow the participation of all Iraqis without exception," Jabouri said.
    "The other challenge we face is the reconstruction of the areas affected by terrorism, which call for regional and international support to rehabilitate our liberated cities to ensure a speedy and safe return to our displaced families who have been subjected to overwhelming circumstances in the past period."
    Jabouri called on the United States and the international community to contribute to the conference of donors for the reconstruction of Iraq, which will be held soon in Kuwait, praising at the same time the US position supporting Iraq and at all levels.
    For his part, McCork said "the support of his government to Iraq in its war against terrorism, and stressed the need to maintain coordination between the two countries, especially with regard to security and economic files." Finished
