The Iraqi politician and former deputy Hassan al-Alawi, on Sunday, the "secret agreements" held by the Kurds with the United States of America reflected positively on their negotiating with the federal government, pointing out that this contributed to weaken the position of Prime Minister Haider Abadi.
Al-Alawi said in a statement to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper that "the Kurds who put the referendum in a difficult position benefited from these troubled balances. The secret agreements between them and the Americans were reflected on improving their negotiating position with Abadi, Maliki called them, and announced his readiness to ally with them, which weakened the position of Abadi. "
Al-Alawi added that "the irony is that the opponents of Abadi are of a certain nature within his party (the call), not from outside him, and so he was implicated on the other by an agreement with the Kurds when he gave them binding promises to implement."
