The General Company of Iraqi Ports, on Monday, a campaign to rehabilitate the port of Khor al-Zubayr, Basra province through a plan of action for marine units and the continued attention to cleanliness.
"The visit of the Minister of Transport Kazem El-Elhamy El-Elhamy to the port and his directions has charted a road map to change the reality of the port," the statement said.
He pointed out that "the work will continue to show the port a new reality," pointing out that "the work will include the rehabilitation of commercial and oil platforms and the administration building and surrounding public facilities and storage yards."
