The Dhi Qar police station on Wednesday sentenced to 41 years in prison for a charge of 12 crimes of theft in Nasiriyah.
"The Dhi Qar Criminal Court sentenced 41-year-old Aqeel Jabbar Ali (Abu Gharba) to 39 years in prison under the provisions of Article 443 of Penal Code No. 111 of 1969," the statement said in a statement.
"The defendant was arrested earlier by the Nasiriyah Criminal Investigation Office and admitted to committing a crime of theft," she said.
"The Dhi Qar Criminal Court sentenced 41-year-old Aqeel Jabbar Ali (Abu Gharba) to 39 years in prison under the provisions of Article 443 of Penal Code No. 111 of 1969," the statement said in a statement.
