Moussawi added that voters in the city of Mosul have a great desire to update their data and receive their card, after the destruction of their previous electoral cards.
A member of the Board of Commissioners said that "the number of cards distributed in Mosul amounted to one million and 400 thousand cards of the total two million and 200 thousand electronic card."
He confirmed that the Commission took all measures to conduct the voting process in all governorates of Iraq and the electronic devices were tested and the success rate of 100%.
According to statistics from the Independent Electoral Commission of the Iraqi elections, of the total 24 million voters, three million and 300 thousand people have the right to vote for the first time who were born (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000).
