The US Dollar is falling ahead of economic growth data

(Encyclopedia of this Day News | Iraq News ) - Live: The US dollar fell from its highest level in six and a half months against major currencies during trading on Wednesday, ahead of economic growth data in the United States, and the continuation of trade tensions.
By 0800 GMT, the dollar was down 0.6% at $ 1.1604 and fell against the yen at 108.71 yen, down 0.06%.
The greenback was down 0.3% at $ 1.3288, while settling against the Swiss franc at 0.9911 francs.
The main dollar index, which measures the performance of the currency against 6 major currencies, fell 0.3% to $ 94.525.
Trade tensions are straining the dollar's trading, with the White House announcing yesterday its intention to issue in June a list of Chinese goods worth up to $ 50 billion and are set to impose tariffs on them.
The US administration also plans to announce the proposed rules on China-related investments on June 30.
Later in the day, data on the second reading of US economic growth for the first quarter of this year are due to be released later today.
