    (Encyclopedia of this Day News | Iraq News ) - The United States on Friday called on North Korea to fulfill its pledge to abandon its nuclear weapons and said that the world, including China and Russia, to continue to apply sanctions until the implementation of it.

    US Ambassador to the United Nations Nicky Healy and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said there was a delay in implementing UN sanctions against North Korea, although Pyongyang has not yet moved to meet its nuclear disarmament pledge.

    Hillley told reporters that there were 89 fuel-related sanctions violations in the first five months of the year and that the United States had photographic evidence of fuel transfers from ship to ship.

    Pompeo, who held talks in North Korea this month that did not produce decisive results, said there was a need to prevent further violations of sanctions, including the smuggling of North Korean coal, and crack down on the presence of North Korean workers in some countries.

    Pompeo repeated that he had made progress in his talks in North Korea, but said in a clear sign of frustration that Pyongyang had not taken concrete steps. "So, what do we need to see? We need to see leader Kim do what the world has promised.

    Hilli complained that China and Russia have blocked US efforts this week to stop all additional shipments of refined petroleum products to North Korea. 

    China is North Korea's closest ally.

    "We are pressing today for China and Russia to commit ... and to help in nuclear disarmament," Hilli said.

    "If we want to achieve success, we should see a response from leader Kim and we must continue to press until that is achieved," she said.

    Deputy Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Dmitry Polianski told Reuters there was no reason to justify Hely's criticism of Russia.

    "We are committed to all decisions. 

    We ask questions only in strict accordance with the rules of the sanctions committee ... We did not block anything. 

    We ordered it.

    China's ambassador to the United Nations Ma Zhaoxu said his country is committed to denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula and promoting dialogue and negotiation.

    "Everyone should implement the Security Council's resolutions in full," he told reporters.
