Integrity: More than half a trillion dinars were spent on projects that are lagging in Babylon

The investigations department of the Integrity Commission announced on Tuesday that all the priorities related to the aborted projects in Babil governorate have been referred and recorded as information to the Department, based on the recommendations of the Central Investigative Team, which is responsible for following up these projects.
"The team monitored (287) projects lagging in the province, the total funds spent on it more than (527 billion) billion dinars," pointing out that the number of projects stalled and stalled; because of the financial crisis and the transfer (230) projects, the total amount disbursed to (284,147,729,925) billion dinars. "
"The most prominent of these projects are the processing, installation and operation of various card water pools, the lining of rivers and streams with more than (40,000,000,000) billion dinars, and the wages of the work of dismantling the bottlenecks of electrical transformers and processing accessories of about (45 billion,000) billion dinars, (16,800,000,000) billion dinars. "
He explained that "the number of projects stalled and suspended by the ministries amounted to (57) projects, the total amount spent on (243,245,690,753) billion dinars, most notably the water project in the villages of Hilla - Mahaweel cost (99,875,000,000) billion dinars, (47,500,000,000) billion dinars, in addition to an integrated plant for the production of soda and chlorine (28,698,000) million dollars, and the processing of equipment for sterilization and sterilization of medical waste (26,526,000) million dollars.
She pointed out that "the investigative team, which is responsible for the administration and follow-up of investigations and investigations into criminal cases and cases, as well as the management and follow-up of reconstruction projects, services, investment and projects plagued with suspicions of corruption, confirmed the registration of information and criminal cases in 141 projects lagging in the investigation office of Babylon earlier, The number of projects that have been subject to corruption suspicions, which have not been recorded as news (32), has been requested by the Group to be recorded as information.
