Al-Kandari asks Al-Khalid about the Iraqi complaint against Kuwait and the government's actions

[rtl]Kuwaiti MP Abdul Karim Al-Kandari asked Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sabah Al-Khalid about Iraq's complaint against Kuwait in the Security Council.[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Kandari al-Khalid also asked about the Kuwaiti response to the Iraqi complaint and the measures taken by the government in this regard.[/rtl]
[rtl]The General Staff of the Kuwaiti army, has denied statements attributed to the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, on the existence of a crisis between his country and Iraq.[/rtl]
[rtl]A statement issued by the Kuwaiti Army Chief of Staff, published by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), said:[/rtl]
[rtl]The statement stressed the retention of the staff "legal right against the propagandists of news and rumors are incorrect in order to sow the seeds of sedition and discrimination and question the depth of brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries."[/rtl]
[rtl]Some of the accounts on the social networking site "Twitter", has circulated tweets and statements attributed to Sheikh Nasser about "the existence of a crisis in relations between Kuwait and Iraq against the background of the topic of building a naval platform in the region of Fasht Al-Aij."[/rtl]
[rtl]The Kuwaiti Army Chief of Staff called on "social media users not to pay attention to such anonymous news and to be careful in dealing with it."[/rtl]
[rtl]The construction of a Kuwaiti naval platform in the marine area of "Fasht Al-Aij" provoked the protest of Iraq, while Kuwait stressed that the construction of the "sovereign right" of the country as it lies in its territorial waters.[/rtl]
[rtl]The "Fish Alaj" is a small area near the maritime border between the two countries; where Kuwait says it lies within its territorial waters, but Iraq believes that it is located on the maritime border has not yet agreed on its return.[/rtl]
