[rtl]Basra MP Jamal al-Mohammadawi warned of the rail link project between Iraq and Kuwait, stressing that the project will eliminate the port of Fao .[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Mohammadawi said in a statement received by "Al-Ahd News" a copy, on Sunday, that "the rail link with Kuwait will expose Iraq to significant losses in revenue and will eliminate the port of Fao and its economic importance ."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added that "it is in the interest of Kuwait to link Iraq with railways in order to activate its ports and make Iraq a conduit for trade only, especially in the case of the completion of the Kuwaiti port Mubarak, which facilitates the rail linkage work of this port and make profits at the expense of the Iraqi side ."[/rtl]
