    The Ministry of Electricity announced yesterday that it was able to achieve a production rate of (21145) megawatts, which is the highest production rate reached by the national electrical system in the country's history.
    A statement by the ministry, which the agency {Euphrates News} received a copy of, stated, “This achievement came amid the intense ministerial effort, especially after Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi’s visit to the Ministry of Electricity in July of this year, and his direct care, and his emphasis on the importance of advancing the electricity sector through qualitative leaps on the The level of electrical projects and the development of performance solutions instead of temporary prosthetic solutions.
    And he indicated that "the ministry will not stand on the threshold of the current stage, but the future will witness the application of the ministry's message and visions in developing the electricity industry in Iraq through the expansion of power lines and the rehabilitation of distribution networks."
    He continued, "As well as proceeding with renewable energy projects and electrical interconnection, and introducing the combined cycle for all our stations, according to extensive strategies to achieve economic and development returns."
    The Ministry of Electricity affirmed, "It is determined to complete its path through its soldiers with all competencies in raising the level of production of the national system and protecting it from the hand of terrorism, and sacrificing all its resources and capabilities to achieve the welfare of the citizen."
