(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Iraqi ambassador to Jordan Haider Al-Athari said today, Wednesday, that the volume of Iraqi investments in Jordan is estimated at about 18 billion dollars.
[size=15][rtl][size=21]Al-Adhari pointed out in his speech, during his attendance, an invitation to the Jordanian Society for Dialogue, Thought and Development that "the two brotherly countries are working in a harmonious and accelerating pace to exceed the size of Iraqi investments in the Kingdom, the barrier of twenty million dollars during the next two years."[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Adhari stressed that "efforts are focused in the current stage on increasing the movement and volume of transport and transit through the border outlets between the two countries, in a way that contributes to increasing the volume of bilateral trade between them."[/rtl]
[rtl]He announced "a solution to the problem and crisis of Jordanian trucks transporting Iraqi oil to Jordan and the port of Aqaba, pointing out that every day ten thousand barrels from Iraq are entered into Jordan and that directives were issued by the Minister of Interior to allow 300 Jordanian trucks to enter Iraq daily."[/rtl]
