A statement of Al-Halbousi's office said that during the meeting, the political situation and its developments were discussed, and the need for political forces to have a clear vision to manage the country's affairs and bear responsibilities is to implement the aspirations of all components of the Iraqi people.
He added that the meeting also discussed the issue of forming a government and proceeding with early elections in order to fulfill the will of the people.
