{Political: Al Furat News} Representative of the National State Forces, Hassan Khalati, confirmed that "Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim's call to investigate the files of wasting money in the electricity sector is a deterrent to any future corruption intention."
The useful summary.. In important news, you can find it in the Euphrates News channel on the telegram.. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Khalati told {Euphrates News} that "the electricity sector is one of the most spending sectors, and billions of dollars have been spent in order to advance it, and unfortunately we are witnessing great failures, especially in the summer," stressing that "there are many files related to electricity files that were presented in the House of Representatives, where the session took place. More than 3 hours, and the file will be presented in the next session again."
And he indicated that "the investigation into the file of money spent on the electricity sector since 2003 is necessary, and perhaps there are fake projects that were not completed, and generators that were contracted and did not meet the required specifications, and that activating the investigation of these files is one of the deterrent methods for any future corruption attempt."
Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim was emphatic yesterday on the necessity of revealing the real flaw behind this file, the failure in its management, and the internal and external reasons that sought to mix papers and endanger the lives of citizens, as well as reviewing all the money wasted on this vital artery since 2003 to this day.
Yesterday, Iraq witnessed a general shutdown in all its governorates, and all its stations went out of service in an incident that has not been repeated for years.
