On Thursday, the head of the Anbar Investment Commission, Mahdi Saleh Al-Noman, described the investment law as a “chain” due to the procedures of ministries and government institutions.
Al-Noman said to the "Information" agency that "the investment reality in Iraq can be made the first in the region, especially with the existence of Investment Law No. 13 of 2006, but this law is bound by some of the regulations and decisions issued by the ministries."
He added, "Some ministries have made the investment law shackled because of the ill-considered decisions that were introduced into the law, which requires addressing these failures and giving powers to the governors in managing investment projects."
It is noteworthy that dozens of local and foreign investment companies expressed their willingness to obtain investment opportunities to work in the province as a result of the stability of the security situation. finished/ 12a
