On Sunday, the Iraqi Customs General Authority announced the cancellation of the procedure for claiming the validity of issuing books received from the Iraqi National Oil Company.

The authority said in a statement that "Nass" received a copy of it (April 24, 2022), that "this procedure came based on the directive of the Director General in accordance with the powers granted to him in accordance with Article 269 of the Customs Law No. 23 of 1984 as amended."
She added, that the procedures for claiming the validity of the issuance were not required by all departments of the Ministry of Oil except for this company, and it was canceled in accordance with this decision to simplify and expedite the progress of its transactions.
