, Al-Rafidain Bank, today, Tuesday, warned its customers against dealing with parties claiming to grant advances to the Popular Mobilization, Defense and Interior employees, and employees.
The media office of the bank said in a statement received by the National News Center. “There are parties, offices and associations that claim to cooperate with the Rafidain Bank and are promoting the granting of advances through social networking sites or through fake messages and delusion of the employee, affiliate or retiree in their own way in granting them the advances. He pointed out that there are fake links and websites that have spread on social networking sites that promote the granting of advances and loans to employees, members of the Defense and Interior Ministry and retirees by publishing incorrect links and phone numbers in exchange for sums of money and making promises to them to raise the amount of the advance in their account.
The statement called not to deal with those who steal citizens' data and information and not to disclose it to any party in order to avoid theft, and that the bank is free of responsibility and its relationship with any party claiming to be approved by it in promoting the advance. The statement explained that the bank had previously issued instructions to include the popular crowd with advances, in addition to members of the security forces and employees, and that it continues to grant advances without interruption.
And he indicated that "the only approved authority to apply for the advances is the bank's branches exclusively located in Baghdad and the provinces."
