    {Politics: Al Furat News} A delegation from the Kurdistan region is heading to the capital, Baghdad, today, Sunday, to complete meetings and negotiations with the federal government.
    "To continue the meetings between Erbil and Baghdad, the delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government will go to Baghdad to discuss the outstanding problems between the two sides," said the head of the Cabinet Office in the Kurdistan Region, Omid Sabah, in a press statement.
     He added, "The visit will continue for two days, and our meetings will resume on Sunday with the Oil Ministry to discuss the oil and gas law and issues related to the issue."
     On February 11, the delegation representing the Kurdistan region visited the capital, Baghdad, and held a series of meetings with ministers and government officials there.
     On December 10, 2022, a delegation representing the Kurdistan Regional Government was formed, consisting of the Minister of Economy and Finance, Awat Sheikh Janab, the Minister of Natural Resources, Kamal Muhammad, the Agency of Natural Resources, the Chief of the Cabinet Office, Omid Sabah, the head of the Coordination and Follow-up Department, Abdul Hakim Khosrow, and the spokesman for the regional government. Kurdistan Jutiar Adel, where the delegation visited Baghdad to discuss the outstanding issues between the two parties.
    After the meetings with the Kurdish delegation ended, the office of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani announced the prime minister's approval to send an amount of 400 billion dinars for the purpose of paying the salaries of the employees of the Kurdistan region for two months. 
    But after that, the Federal Supreme Court, based on a complaint submitted by a parliamentarian in the House of Representatives, issued a decision to stop the transfer of money from Baghdad to the Kurdistan region, as it is unconstitutional.
