Oil announces the implementation of the third marine pipeline in the export port in southern Iraq

{Economic: Al Furat News} The Energy Ministerial Council held its sixth session for the year 2023 today, Sunday.
The Ministry of Oil said, "Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Oil Minister Hayan Abdul-Ghani presided over the session, in the presence of ministers and members of the Council, where a number of topics on his agenda were discussed and decisions were taken in their regard."
Abdul-Ghani said that the council had taken important decisions and recommendations regarding a number of vital and strategic projects in the oil and energy sector, including: -
Approval of the general framework of the five-year plan of the Ministry of Electricity
- Activation of contracts for a number of solar energy generation projects.
The implementation of the third marine pipeline, which is considered one of the important strategic projects in southern Iraq, aims to enhance and increase the export capacities of the southern port by about (500) thousand barrels per day.
- Rehabilitation of the fat units in the South Refineries Company
- Installation and operation of the wet oil treatment unit for the gas isolation station in the Nasiriyah field, due to its importance in increasing and enhancing the production of oil and gas for the Dhi Qar Oil Company.
