The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced, on Sunday, that the number of applicants on the platform to adapt the status of foreign workers has reached more than 10,000.
Assistant Director General of Labor and Vocational Training in the Ministry, Abbas Fadel, said in a statement to the official agency that, "Based on Cabinet Resolution No. 23119 regarding the adjustment of the status of foreign workers, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, through the Department of Labor and Vocational Training, launched a platform to adjust the status of foreign workers." .
He explained, "Employers have started applying on this platform in order to adapt the legal status of foreign workers, as more than 10,400 workers have been submitted so far," noting, "The Cabinet's decision officially included foreign workers coming to Iraq, that is, Through airports and border crossings, and for those who have exceeded the period of their stay.
