Shafaq News/ The Parliamentary "Electricity and Energy" Committee demanded, on Monday, the Iraqi government to pressure the United States of America to remove the energy file from political calculations.
The head of the Parliamentary Electricity and Energy Committee, Muhammad Nuri al-Abdarbah, said, in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, that Iraq has fulfilled all its financial obligations, and all its money owed towards Iran, the neighboring country, from which we hope to look at the historical relations between the two countries, explaining that Iraq has fulfilled its obligations. Residents have been protesting for many years against the frequent power outages, especially in the summer, when temperatures sometimes reach 50 degrees Celsius.
