Yesterday, Monday, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs extinguished the debts owed by the families of the martyrs. A statement from the ministry explained that “the head of the Social Protection Authority in the Ministry of Labor, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, announced that the Social Protection Authority had stopped procedures for recovering overpaid amounts owed by the families of the martyrs, according to what was stated in the budget law.” Al-Moussawi added that “the suspension of recovery was implemented starting on 9/1/2023.” ", indicating that "the Authority will collect the remaining amounts owed by them to take legal procedures and official approvals to extinguish them."
