The local government in Karbala is working to complete the file of establishing new cities in the governorate and announcing them as investment opportunities. Governor Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi told Al-Sabah: The governorate is continuing its meetings with the concerned authorities with the aim of developing the necessary solutions to complete the file for establishing three new cities on an area of 3,000 dunams, each of which includes 4,000 housing units, to be announced as investment opportunities. He pointed out that the next few days will witness the announcement of new cities as investment opportunities, indicating at the same time that 15 percent of the aforementioned housing units will be distributed free of charge among some eligible segments.
