A member of the Immigration and Displaced Persons Committee in Parliament, Sharif Suleiman, confirmed that Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stressed the necessity of normalizing the situation in Sinjar, to enable the displaced to return to their areas.
Suleiman told Mawazine News, “During our meeting with Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani about the situation in Sinjar, he stressed the normalization of the situation in the judiciary.”
Suleiman pointed out, "It is necessary for the Iraqi government to implement the Sinjar Agreement as soon as possible, to ensure the return of the displaced to their homes."
He pointed out that what we have noticed is that the Iraqi government "does not want to implement the Sinjar Agreement."
