[size=45]The National Security Advisor’s media office said in a statement, “National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji met in Ankara with Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler,” noting that “the meeting witnessed a review of the political and security situation in the region and discussed strengthening cooperation relations between the two neighboring countries, especially cooperation in Files of security, border control, combating terrorism, water, and information exchange.”[/size]
[size=45]Al-Araji stressed, “the depth of the strategic relations and common history between Iraq and Turkey, and the importance of this in strengthening the frameworks of cooperation and partnership between the two neighboring countries at all levels.”[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out that “constructive cooperation in the field of consolidating security and stability and achieving the development path project naturally leads to stability in all aspects, especially economic ones, in a way that benefits everyone and achieves the interests of peoples and countries.”[/size]
