On Sunday, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ahmed Al-Assadi announced the opening of an electronic window to include children with diabetes in social assistance salaries.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs said in a statement, seen by Al-Iqtisad News, that “the Minister of Labor, during his launch of the electronic window in the presence of the Chairman of the Social Protection Authority, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, and the General Director of the Information Technology Center, Karim Kreidi, explained that the Ministry had launched the application for inclusion in the social protection salary for children with diabetes.” According to Cabinet Resolution No. 23528 dated 9/17/2023.”
The minister pointed out, according to the statement, that “the application window will be available for 10 days, starting from Sunday, 3/24/2024, and includes children with first-degree diabetes, provided that their age does not exceed 18 years.
