Russian Gasprom increases Kurdish oil production

Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Russian Gasprom oil company announced the increase its oil production
from Kurdish well Serkala-1 by 42% to reach 71000 b/d.
In a statement, the work to increase production was completed on 31 March, 2017.
It added that the current production of Serkala-1 reached its maximum, but there are expectations to have more increase in production.
Gasprom is working in Iraq since 2010 and signed a contract with the Kurdish region to divide the production. The Kurdish shares with the contracts signed with the Russian oil company reached to 20%.
The company is developing Badra oilfield in mid of Iraq, as well.
