    Kazibrom Russian oil company supervising the Badra oil field in Wasit announced, that the Iraqi government did not ask them to reduce oil production, saying put it plans to double production in the Badra oil field to full capacity during 2018. 
    He said the company 's CEO Alexander Dyukov, "We have not received any recommendations from the Iraqi Oil Ministry regarding the reduction of production, but earlier the ministry recommended the company to reduce the number of drilling sites from 7 to 4," adding "we will not reach maximum production of oil in the field Badra during 2017 but we will achieve the increase in 2018, which is hoped to be at 115,000 barrels per day. " 
    Kazibrom company owns 30% of the shares of Badra oil field in Wasit that preliminary geological estimates suggest it contains approximately 3 billion barrels of oil reserves , where commercial production of oil began in the field in August 2014.

    On the other hand, Iraqi Oil Minister Jabbar Allaibi stressed his country 's commitment to its share of planned production cuts, which range between 200 and 210 thousand barrels per day as of early January.

    Allaibi called on all oil producers inside and outside OPEC to adhere to their share in the planned deal , saying , "This move is in the right direction for the stability of oil markets and support prices , which took an upward trend since the announcement.
