Mortar attack on Damascus countryside leaves 2 casualties
Damascus (SyriaNews.media) A police source revealed that a soldier was killed while another one was wounded by mortar shells attack in the countryside of Damascus, SANA reported on Wednesday.
The source said that the terrorist groups in Qaboun, Ghouta and eastern areas of Damascus launched, at noon today, three mortar shells on the city of Harasta in the countryside of Damascus, killing one person and wounding another, as well as causing damage to some houses.
The terrorist and Takhfiri groups are frequently launch attacks on the neighborhoods, villages of Damascus, especially Harasta City, in an attempt to compensate their losses in the battles against the Syrian army, and weaken the aid and support provided by civilians to security forces.
