Said Australian Immigration Minister Peter Dutton, that the Australians who joined the ranks of the terrorist organizations in Syria, "it is better to die there and not come back," while cautious Australian Department of Justice that they return to their countries pose the greatest threat to the security of the region.

Said Dutton in a press statement, "The Australian Government has taken several measures, including the abolition of passports of fighters who have joined the ranks of the terrorist organizations in Syria, so as to prevent them from entering Australian territory again." He stressed Dutton saying, "I really believe that the best for them to die in Syria and not to return from this country, so as not to disturb others their making, I think this is what they deserve."

For his part, Minister of Justice of Australia, George Brandes, "The terrorists returning to the Southeast Asian countries after joining the ranks of the terrorist organizations in the Middle East, pose a major threat to the security of the region." Brandeis and the number of fighters reach the type as those who went to the Middle East from the Southeast Asian countries, nearly 600 fighters, he warned that "these fighters return to their countries pose the greatest threat to the region's security and safety."

The Australian government earlier announced its intention to take strict action against Australian citizens who have joined the ranks of the terrorist organizations in the Middle East. The government indicated that it would cancel the passports of those who went to the Middle East to join the ranks of terrorist organizations, and would sentence them to life imprisonment if they return to Australia. The authorities expect the presence of about 100 people holding Australian citizenship within the ranks of the terrorist organizations active in the Middle East.
