The Russian Defense Ministry announced that Russian airliner killed more than 80 terrorists from Daqash, as they were traveling from Raqqa to Palmyra on the night of 30 May.
The ministry said in a statement: "According to the targets discovered by Russian aviation strikes, the losses of the duel was the death of more than 80 terrorists and the destruction of 36 cars and 8 tanks and 17" pickups "equipped with machine guns and shells.
The statement stressed that "the leadership of the group of Russian forces operating in the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic continues to take the necessary measures to prevent the emergence of factions advocated from tenderness towards the provinces of Homs and Hama."
The statement said that the Russian air force thwarted two attempts to get out of the militants of the "Da'ash" terrorist out of the city of Riqqa within a week.
"The Russian Air Force destroyed the first convoy from Raqqa to Palmyra on May 25. On the night of 29-30 May, Da'ash tried again to go to the area around Palmyra. Three convoys carrying armed men left Raqqa in the southern direction through different routes. "
The ministry pointed out that the militants "Daash" crossing the Euphrates River and exit from Al-Rigga, although they surrounded by the "Syrian Democratic Forces" and US forces, French and British private.
