    Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, the expected visit of a Turkish delegation to discuss the arrangement of the withdrawal of Turkish troops from northern Iraq after the liberation of the city of Mosul.

    "A Turkish delegation will visit Iraq soon to discuss the arrangement of the withdrawal of Turkish troops from the country," Abadi said in response to a question on the sidelines of his weekly press conference.

    Abadi added that he "informed the Turkish Prime Minister of the absence of the pretext of the survival of his country's forces in Iraq after the liberation of Mosul from the control of a preacher."

    The parliamentary security and defense committee called earlier President Fuad Masum and the government to negotiate with the United Nations and the Security Council to force Turkey to withdraw its troops from Iraq.
