Cairo and Amman have agreed on joint industrial cooperation for the reconstruction of Syria and Iraq, which have been largely destroyed by the years-long war.
The agreement was announced by Egyptian Minister of Industry Tariq Qabeel in remarks published on the site of the "seventh day" from Jordan during the work of the High Joint Commission between Egypt and Jordan.
A recent World Bank report revealed that the total loss of the Syrian economy is estimated at $ 226 billion. The report said housing units were destroyed or partially damaged by the war by about 27%.
International institutions have estimated the cost of rebuilding Iraq's war-damaged areas at $ 100 billion
Many countries and companies have begun to contemplate the reconstruction phase and the huge projects to be held in Syria and Iraq, despite the continuation of the war
