Egyptian-Jordanian agreement to cooperate in the reconstruction of Iraq
Egyptian Minister of Industry Tariq Qabeel said on Friday that his country had agreed with Jordan to cooperate in the reconstruction of Iraq.
"It was agreed with the Jordanian Minister of Industry on joint industrial cooperation for the reconstruction of Syria and Iraq," Qabil said in a press statement carried by the Egyptian-Jordanian Higher Committee, headed by Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.
Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said on June 22 that the cost of destruction of infrastructure due to the war on the Dahesh exceeds 100 billion dollars.
Iraq plans to hold an international donor conference hosted by Kuwait next August to rebuild liberated cities.
