part of efforts to increase cooperation between Iraq and the countries of the world, especially the neighboring countries, the oil and transport ministers in Tehran discussed on Saturday joint projects between the two countries, such as the development of the transfer of Iranian gas to Baghdad and Basra and the contribution of Iranian companies in developing the reality of transport in Iraq .
A statement by the Ministry of Transport, received «morning» a copy of it, that Minister Kazem Fangan Al-Hamami met on Saturday, the Iranian Defense Minister Hussain Dehqan at the headquarters of his ministry in Tehran, and discussed several issues of interest to the two friendly countries, pointing to this meeting is an update of the talks with companies Which is responsible for the manufacture of ships and civil ships belonging to the Iranian Ministry of Defense.
According to the statement, the formation of the committee (Iraqi-Iranian) was put forward in order to deepen the bonds of cooperation in various fields, especially transport, while the talks also included improving the depths of the Shatt al-Arab because of the benefit to the economy of the two countries, pointing out that Hammami proposed to return to the border agreement between The two countries signed in 1975, while Dahkan expressed his initial approval for this after the matter was presented to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
It is worth mentioning that the Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals Mohammad Shiaa al-Sudani signed a memorandum of understanding with the Minister of Trade, Industry and Mines Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh during his visit to his office in Baghdad, which includes enhancing cooperation in small and medium industries and industrial cities.
A source at the Iranian Oil Ministry said in a press statement that Iraqi Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luaibi arrived in Tehran yesterday, saying that he met with his Iranian counterpart, Bijan Zangane, and discussed with him the latest developments in the oil market and joint oil projects between the two countries.
