    The Ministry of the Interior announced on Thursday the arrest of 18 foreign women on charges of trafficking in human beings in the capital Baghdad.
    The ministry said in a statement received by Mawazine News that "a force from the 3rd regiment in the 54th Brigade managed, in cooperation with the Directorate of Organized Crime, to arrest a gang of human trafficking and human organs."
    She added that "the gang consists of 18 foreign women (did not mention their nationality)," indicating that "were arrested in the Yarmouk area of ​​Baghdad."
    She pointed out that "the force of the second regiment in the seventh brigade, a federal police was able to arrest two of the thieves, after stealing a wheel of a citizen, in the district of Al-Maalif south of Baghdad."
    "A police force in Baghdad arrested a person who attacked a doctor working in Sheikh Zayed Hospital immediately after the attack and is currently being held at a police station in Baghdad and confirmed his statements in an initial and judicial manner."
