North Korea threatens Guam with pre-emptive strike
North Korea's ambassador to Russia, Xing Hoon-hipp, said his country had finished preparations for a strike on Guam if America did not act rationally.
According to the agency "Sputnik": that his country is closely watching the maneuvers of the US and South Korea, which began on Monday, and if provocation is ready to strike preemptively.
"Our army and people, led by Kim Jong-un, are watching these aggressive attacks and ready at any moment to strike preemptively," he said.
"Pyongyang believes that the joint US-South Korean exercises are aimed at eliminating North Korea, its leadership and its military capabilities," the North Korean official said.
"The United States and South Korea talk about the maneuvers being annual and defensive, but they are actually military maneuvers aimed at eliminating our state. All this shows the aggressive nature of these maneuvers. "
