     Baghdad / Range

The National Union of Journalists in Iraq announced the organization of a training workshop on the subject of "media coverage of the local government" in the city of Basra, especially media and media in the three southern provinces (Basra, Dhi Qar, Missan) exclusively.
"This workshop, the second in a series of workshops supported by the National Fund for Democracy Support (NED), takes place three days (19-21 October)," a statement issued by the union said.
The workshop will deal with the definition and responsibility of local government, the nature of media coverage of local government activity, building relationships with local authority institutions, as well as: determining the content and objectives of local media coverage, areas of media coverage, and ethical rules and standards to be observed and covered. The union invited the willing and willing to participate in the workshop to submit their applications attached to the curriculum vitae and a copy of the civil identity or identity of the institution in which the applicant works, and the deadline for acceptance of the applications is 15 October.
