Border crossings announced the seizure of Iranian and Saudi funds at Najaf International Airport

BAGHDAD / The border crossings authority announced on Wednesday the seizure of Iranian and Saudi funds at Najaf airport in the possession of Iraqi travelers.
"An amount of 190 million Iranian tomans was seized with three Iraqi nationals at Najaf International Airport," the information department said in a statement received by Iraq News.
"An amount of 400,000 Saudi riyals was also seized by an Iraqi passenger at the same airport."
"Because the funds are in violation of the instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq, it was decided to put them under customs supervision." Finished
