Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi returned Sunday to Baghdad after attending the Munich Security Conference, which ended on Sunday.
Abadi arrived in the German city last Friday for the three-day Munich security conference.
The Munich Security Conference concluded last night with the events of its 54th edition, which lasted for three days in the city of Munich, southern Germany, and was attended by about 600 participants, including 21 heads of state and government, 75 foreign ministers and defense.
The conference discussed the security situation in the world, issues of terrorism, transnational crime and cybercrime, the role of development in the fight against terrorism and extremism, the role of education and conscious information in dealing with extremist organizations.
