[ltr]Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasimi described the French statements about Iran's regional policy as "illusions".[/ltr]
[ltr]"Iran is exchanging views on regional and international developments," he said in response to Paris' remarks on the eve of French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Ludran's visit to Tehran.[/ltr]
[ltr]"We will definitely inform the French side that their concerns about regional Iranian policy are wrong and their concerns about the region should be sought in the greed and aggressive policies of some capitals of the region and beyond," he said.[/ltr]
[ltr]"The world is now aware that the era of sanctions and threats has long gone," he said in response to French Foreign Minister threats to impose sanctions on Tehran.[/ltr]
