Egyptian-French military exercises in the Red Sea

The Egyptian armed forces announced on Saturday the implementation of joint naval exercises with the French forces in the territorial waters of the Red Sea.
"Egyptian and French naval units carried out joint naval mine action training, which lasted several days at the Red Sea Operations Theater," a statement by the Egyptian army said.
He added that "a number of Egyptian and French naval vessels participated in the exercise, in addition to the Egyptian minesweeper (Nafarin), French mine destroyer (LER), and a number of diving crews trained on the tasks of removing explosives under water."
The training comes in support of the pillars of joint cooperation between the Egyptian and French armed forces, the identification of the latest systems and methods of naval combat and maximizing the joint use of forces participating in training. Ending / 25 z
